Evelyn M. (Dellinger) Dodson

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP- Evelyn M. (Dellinger) Dodson, 89, of Dover, died Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at Colonial Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in York. She was the wife of Irvin L. Dodson. The couple celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on November 2, 2006. A Graveside Service will be 2 p.m. on Friday at Prospect Hill Cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Dodson was born in Manchester on October 21, 1917, a daughter of the late Wilbird R.R. and Elmira C. (Hoffman) Dellinger. She retired from Pfaltzgraff Pottery in York, was a member of St Michael Lutheran Church in Rossville and was a graduate of Manchester High School. Mrs. Dodson leaves a son, Michael S. Dodson and his wife Holly of Red Lion, and a granddaughter, Heather H. Dodson. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Patrick Dodson.
