Evelyn M. (Becker) Ketterman

York—Evelyn M. (Becker) Ketterman, died Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Manor Care Health Service-North. She was the wife of the late Ervin T. Ketterman. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10 AM, Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York with her pastor, the Rev. Tanya L. H. Brubaker officiating. A viewing will be held from 9-10 AM, Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Suburban Memorial Gardens. Born November 15, 1922 in York, she was a daughter of the late Alvin E. Becker, Sr and Esta M. (Gable) Becker. She was a loving homemaker, dedicated to her husband, children and grandchildren. A member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in York, she enjoyed watching the Price Is Right, Soap Operas and working on crossword puzzles. Mrs. Ketterman is survived by five sons, Michael R. Ketterman and his wife, Jean of York, Stephen J. Ketterman of York, John A. Ketterman and his wife, Jane of Naples, FL, Timothy S. Ketterman and his wife, Bonnie of York and Mark A. Ketterman and his wife, Pamela of York; eight grandchildren, Steve, Mike, Troy, Richelle, Matthew, Nikki, Melissa and Brandy; fourteen great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Alvin Becker, Jr and two sisters, Ruth Becker and Helen Houseal.
