Evelyn A. (Brothers) Sechrist

YORK – Evelyn A. (Brothers) Sechrist, 86, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Wilson H. Sechrist. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Grace Lutheran Church – Roundtown, 498 Church Rd., York with her pastor, The Rev. Stephen W. Yambor officiating. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 PM Sunday at the Church. Private burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born February 20, 1925 in York a daughter of the late Jesse and Martha A. (Miller) Brothers, she was a member of Grace Lutheran Church – Roundtown and enjoyed completing jigsaw puzzles and reading. Mrs. Sechrist is survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
