Eugene F. Hackett

YORK - Eugene F. Hackett, 76, died Sunday, May 11, 2008 at York Hospital. He was the companion of Vicki V. Goodman. Funeral services and burial will be private. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born January 10, 1932 in Hornell, NY a son of the late Joseph Gayheart and the late Viola Tingue, he retired from York Narrow Fabrics. He was also a manager at the former Penn Hotel and King George Tavern. Mr. Hackett was a member of the Ninth Ward Republican Club. In addition to his companion, Mr. Hackett is survived by two sons, Eugene J. Goodman and Kenneth E. Goodman both of York; two grandchildren, Taylor Robinson and Kyle Hackett; and a brother, Joseph Gayheart of New York.
