Ethel F. Long

SOUTH RENOVO - Ethel F. (Drabic) Long, 94, of North Bend died Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Bucktail Medical Center, S. Renovo. She was born in S. Renovo on March 17, 1923 a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Kudrik) Drabic. Ethel was married to Joseph Q. Long who died in 1981. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Renovo. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Ethel was a 1940 graduate of St. Joseph High School. Surviving are a son; Ronald (Frances) Long of Emporium and a daughter-in-law; Candace Long of North Bend. 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. Ethel was preceded in death by two sons; Robert and Richard a grandson David and also 2 brothers and 2 sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 925 Huron Ave., Renovo with Rev. Joseph Orr officiating. A viewing will be held from 11:00 – 12:45 at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 fifth St., Renovo. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church (Improvement Fund) or a charity of your choice in her memory Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hyner.
