Elsie M. (Mansberger) Markley

YORK- Elsie M. (Mansberger) Markley, 80, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2011 at Manor Care Health Services, North. She was the wife of the late Clayton H. Markley, Sr. A celebration of life service will be held at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Rohler's Assembly of God, 761 Rohler's Church Rd., Dover, PA 17315, with a time of gathering with the family to follow. Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, 305 W. Front St., Lewisberry is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Markley was born on August 6, 1931 in York, a daughter of the late Earl N. and Edna(Edleblute) Mansberger. She worked as clerk for Hardees. Mrs. Markley was a member of Pinchot Park Assembly of God. Mrs. Markley is survived by a son, Ronald Trowbridge and his wife, Marie of York; a daughter Evelyn Cone and her husband, Jessie of Georgia; seven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two brothers, Ray Mansberger and Wilbur Mansberger; and a sister.
