Ellen May (Stump) Patrick

Etters- Ellen May (Stump) Patrick, 70, transitioned to her eternal home on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at UPMC West Shore Hospital. She was the wife of Gary A. Patrick, Sr., to whom she was married 53 years.

Born on May 12, 1953 in Richland, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Adele (Andrews) Stump.

Ellen was happy-go-lucky and enjoyed her life to the fullest, living each day in the moment. Her smile and laughter were contagious and she had the ability to make anyone around her laugh right along with her. She was kind and considerate making sure she put everyone’s needs before her own.

Walt Disney World was one of her favorite places to visit and she never missed the opportunity to enjoy a pineapple Dolewhip. She loved animals but none more than her loyal sidekick, Shadow.

Along with her husband, Ellen is survived by her two sons, Gary Jr. (Dawn) of Lewisberry, and Andrew (Dawn) of Willow Street; her daughter Heather Aughenbaugh (Steve) of Dover; her 10 grandchildren; her two brothers, Mike and Kenny; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Donna Sease and Kathy Thornton and her two brothers, Charles Jr., and Jack.

A private burial will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, Lewisberry, PA.
