Ellen Marie (Hussiere) Holt

Williamsport - Ellen Marie (Hussiere) Holt, 88, formerly of Philipsburg, died on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at the Muncy Valley Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit. Ellen was born on August 21, 1919 in Philipsburg and was a daughter of the late Emile C. and Eva Mae (Williams) Hussiere. She was a graduate of Philipsburg High School and was a member of the First Christian Church of Montoursville. Ellen loved flowers, reading, and sewing and was a great cook. Ellen is survived by two sons and two daughters in law; John W. and Carol Holt, III of South Williamsport and Thomas L. and Fran Holt of East Berlin, two daughters and two sons in law; Emilie L. and Elmer Fritz of Montoursville and Ellen M. and Richard Moon of Williamsport, seven grandchildren; Farley Holt, Heather Tucci, Christopher Holt, Timothy Shaw, Amy Steckel, Megan Moon and Jennifer Diefenderfer and eight great-grandchildren and one niece and one nephew. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters. There will be a memorial service 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2008 at the First Christian Church, 5329 Lycoming Mall Drive, Montoursville, PA, 17754. Arrangements are being handled by the Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira Street, Williamsport, PA 17701.
