Elizabeth M. (Scott) Holtzinger

RED LION- Elizabeth M. (Scott) Holtzinger, 85, of York, died Monday, February 2, 2009 at her residence. She was the wife of the late G. Nevin Holtzinger. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m. on Thursday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a visitation from 10-11 a.m. Burial will be in Red Lion Cemetery. Mrs. Holtzinger was born in Sunnyburn on July 16, 1923, a daughter of the late Herbert and Cordie (Colvin) Scott. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Mrs. Holtzinger leaves a son, Roger N. Holtzinger of Ft. Wayne, IN; four daughters, Gail E. Ropp of Dallastown, Sandra D. Leiphart of Craley, Bonita D. Workinger, and Kay E. Gemmill, both of Red Lion; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA/Hospice, 218 E. Market Street, York, PA 17401.
