Edwin R. 'Eddie' Gunnet

THOMASVILLE – Edwin R. “Eddie” Gunnet, 57, passed away Friday, May 31, 2013 at York Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Grace Fellowship, 1405 Seven Valleys Rd., York with Pastor Michael Anthony Paolicelli officiating. Visitations will be held from 10-11 AM Wednesday at the Church and from 6-8:00 PM Tuesday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. He was born on January 29, 1956 in Lima, Ohio a son of Betty (Birley) Zimmerman of Bowling Green, OH and the late Raymond E. Bowman. He worked at G & S Foods in Abbottstown. Eddie enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren; and hunting. Mr. Gunnet is survived by Susan (Stough) Gunnet, a daughter Jessica M. Gunnet, and a son Jeremiah M. Gunnet, all of Thomasville; four grandchildren, Seth, Ryan, and Angel Gunnet of Thomasville, and Tristen Daigle of Daytona Beach, FL; three sisters, Linda Harris of Bowling Green, Karen Kervin of Marian, OH, and Marlene Goodman of League City, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
