Edward A. Clifford

West Manchester Township- Edward A. Clifford, 81, of York, died Saturday, October 6, 2007 at Manor Care Health Services in Dallastown. He was the husband of the late Arlamae C. (Kohler) Clifford. A Service will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery in York. A flag folding will be performed by York County Veteran's Honor Guard. Mr. Clifford was born in Shamokin, PA on October 24, 1925, a son of the late Edward J. and Ruby M. (Knorr) Clifford. He retired from Caterpillar in York and was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in York and Knights of Columbus. He served in the US Navy in WWII. Mr. Clifford leaves a son, Edward R. Clifford of Fernandina Beach, FL, two daughters: Judie A. Clifford and Marcia L. Jaklitsch, both of York, four grandchildren: Misty L. Estep, E. Grant Clifford, Aaron C. DeJesus, Jordan C. Way, four great grandchildren, a brother Richard Clifford and a sister Peggy Updike. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Clifford.
