Edith D. (Baker) Grim

YORK - Edith D. (Baker) Grim, 78 died Friday, January 09, 2009 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in York. She was the wife of the late Leverne Grim. A viewing will be held 1-3:00 PM Sunday, January 11, 2009 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. Burial will be private at the request of the family. Edith was born April 28, 1930, in York, a daughter of the late Philip and Edith Baker. She was employed by the former York Telephone Company as a Telephone Operator and by Honeywell of York until her retirement. Edith is survived by a son, Mark P. Myers and wife Sandra of San Antoino, TX; a daughter, Janetta L. Nielsen and husband Wayne of New Park; three grandchildren, Angela D. Richards of York, and Emily and Matthew Myers of TX; three great grandchildren, Dennis, Kayla and Christofer; a sister, Delores J. O'Connor; two nephews; and two nieces. She was preceded in death by a daughter Jane E. Myers.
