Doris L. Miller

WILKES-BARRE-Doris L. Miller, 88, of Wilkes-Barre passed away Tuesday evening at General Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Wilkes-Barre on October 17, 1920, she was a daughter of the late George B. and Jennie Swank Miller. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Wilkes-Barre. Doris was preceded in death by her twin brother, Donald Miller; brother, Ralph B. Miller; sisters, Faith Hoy and Helen Smith. She is survived by her sister, Ruth McVaugh, Dallas, TX; nephew, Roland H. Vaughan; nieces, Martha M. Vaughan and Melinda Miller and cousins. A graveside service will be held at Oak Lawn Cemetery on Monday, June 22, 2009 at 10:00 AM. Reverend Robert Sauers will officiate. Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, Inc., Wilkes-Barre is in charge of arrangements.
