Doris S. (Saylor) Edwards

STEWARTSTOWN- Doris S. (Saylor) Edwards, 95, died on Monday, December 29, 2025 at her residence. She was the wife of the late George Y. Edwards.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Round Hill Presbyterian Cemetery, 7362 Church Rd., Felton with the Reverend Rebecca McGee officiating. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion is in charge of arrangements.

Born on March 26, 1930 in York, she was a daughter of the late Earnest Saylor and the late Kathryn (Miller) Ehrhart. Doris worked in the electronics assembly department at Tyco International.

Mrs. Edwards was a member of Winterstown United Methodist Church. She loved traveling to Bethany Beach and her main love was her daughter, Tammy.

Doris is survived by her sister, Darlene Kinard of York; two brothers, Eugene Saylor of Hallam and Cletus Ehrhart; and son in law, Tom Baker. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Edwards Baker.
