Dora B. Confer

HOWARD - Dora B. (Haines) Confer, 88, passed away, Sunday, Oct., 11, 2015 at Haven Rehab and Skilled Nursing, Lock Haven. She was born December 17, 1926 in Howard a daughter of the late Fountain and Mary (Temons) Haines. Dora was married to Lawrence B. Confer who died in 2000. She worked for Woolrich in Howard. She enjoyed housekeeping and cooking for her family every Sunday. Surviving are one son Dennis M. (Linda) Confer and a daughter Patricia K. (Stephen) Fickes both of Howard. Five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers Harry, Harold and Floyd and a sister Beatrice Huey. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Hayes-Fearon Cemetery, Beech Creek. Helt Funeral Chapel, Mill Hall has charge of arrangements.
