Donna J. Grim

YORK - Donna J. Grim peacefully departed this life on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at UPMC Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Robert R. "Bob" Grim.

 A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 17, 2024 located at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York, PA 17408, with Pastor Doug Evans officiating the service. There will be a visitation from 10-11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Strinestown Cemetery.

Born November 13, 1937 in Windsor, she was a daughter of the late Paul A. and Myrtle A. (Mitzel) Fake. Donna was a proud graduate of Dallastown Area High School, class of 1955. She was notably a form finisher at Standard Register Co., where she devoted an impressive 38 years of her career before retiring in August 2004. While her professional life was significant, it was her warmth and vibrant spirit that truly left an imprint on those who knew her. In her free time, Donna nurtured a love for bowling and dancing, activities that brought her much joy. Additionally, she embraced the thrill of traveling, often exploring new places, and creating cherished memories with her family and friends.

She leaves behind her beloved sons, Rene A. Snyder and his wife, Tracy of Glen Rock, and Jason A. Snyder of York, and her cherished granddaughter, Miranda R. Snyder of Glen Rock; her step-daughters, Connie Cummings and Fawnetta Reichley both of York. Donna was also the dear sister to Debra Bond of York. She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Donald E. Fake, who will be lovingly remembered alongside her.

Donna J. Grim will be remembered not only for her contributions as a professional but also for her family devotion and the countless moments of joy she shared with those she loved. Her legacy will endure in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
