Donalene M. Keener

Donalene M. (Loyd) Keener, 92, of Windsor, passed away Monday, June 22, 2026 at Pleasant Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late S. Preston Keener with whom she shared 64 years of marriage until his passing in 2020. 

A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, June 29, 2026 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with The Rev. Dr. Michael Walker officiating. A viewing will be held from 9-10:00 AM Monday at the Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Windsor Church of God Cemetery. 

Mrs. Keener was born on May 14, 1934 in Windsor, a daughter of the late Charles F. and Dora D. (Mundis) Loyd. She was a 1952 graduate of Red Lion Area High School and retired from Caterpillar Inc. in 1992 after 36 years of service. Donalene was a lifelong member of Windsor Church of God where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School and served as their pianist for many years. 

Mrs. Keener is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, James C. Loyd.
