Donald J. Sobuta

MOOSIC-Donald J. Sobuta, 72, of Lackawanna Ave., Moosic, died Monday in Community Medical Center, Scranton. Born in Old Forge on July 6, 1936, he was a son of the late Edward and Lottie (Gralla) Sobuta and was a Navy veteran. Prior to retiring, he was employed as an electrical technician at Garlet, Inc. A sister, Alice Viteonovic preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife of 53 years, the former Joan Rychelski; son Thomas Sobuta, Maynard, MA; daughter Barbara Shemanski, at home; 3 grandchildren; brothers Edward Sobuta, Old Forge, Bernard Sobuta, Taylor.
