Dennis J. "Denny" Enochs

NEW OXFORD- Dennis J. “Denny” Enochs died on Friday, May 8, 2026 at Cross Keys Village. He was the husband of Sandi L. (Little) Enochs. The couple recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 27th.

Born on July 21, 1953 in Spring Grove, he was a son of Victor Enochs of Lake Meade and the late Doris (Gross) Enochs. Denny was a maintenance mechanic at BAE for 41 ½ years until his retirement.

Denny attended LCBC Church in East York where he also enjoyed volunteering. He also enjoyed volunteering at Cross Keys. Denny loved the outdoors especially fishing, camping and hiking the Appalachian Trail. He was most proud of his show car, a 1978 Mustang King Cobra.

Along with his wife, Sandi, Denny is survived by two daughters, Michelle Sprenkle and her husband, Chad of Orlando, FL and Lucretia Enochs of Spring Grove; four grandchildren, Lachell Odom and her husband, Sean of Spring Grove, Lillie Geisler of Littlestown, Matthew Holewinski of Spring Grove and Chloe Holewinski of Spring Grove; five great grandchildren, McKenzie, Rylee, Chase, Lucca and Sawyer; and his brother Scott King and his wife, Deb of Dover. He was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Fant.

A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with the Reverend Robert Bishard officiating. A viewing will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service.
