Denise Ann Snider

WINDSOR – Denise Ann (Fillmore) Snider, 71, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Jeffery Scott Snider to whom she celebrated 55 years of marriage on March 10th.

Born August 25, 1952 in York, a daughter of the late Charles and Irene (Gagne) Fillmore, she graduated from York Catholic High School and earned her Associate Degree from York College of PA. Denise had worked 22 years at Tighe Industries, at Rabbit Transit, and then began her banking career with East Prospect Bank and its successors until her retirement from Truist Bank. She enjoyed crafting, baking, reading with her Book Club, and completing word and jigsaw puzzles.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Snider is survived by a daughter, Desiree M. Snider of Red Lion; a son, Kevin L. Snider of York; two granddaughters, Maci Hoffman and Madison Sauer; and two sisters, Linda Roach of Chicago, IL and Corinne Filmore of York. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles “Chuck” Filmore.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:30PM Friday, May 31, 2024 at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will meet inside the entrance of the Cemetery at 2:15PM on Friday. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements.
