YORK – Debra R. Fantom, 70, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Yorkview Nursing and Rehabilitation.
A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 22, 2025 at Cityview Church, 1655 Roosevelt Ave, York, PA 17408, with Pastor Troy Miller officiating the service. There will be a viewing from 10:30-11:00 AM at the church. Burial will be private at Mt. Rose Cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., York, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born August 22, 1954, in York, she was a daughter of the late Dorn R. Fantom Sr. and Marlene A. (Jones) Cramer and step-father George Cramer who raised Debra as his own daughter. Ms. Fantom was a high school graduate of Spring Grove High School, class of 1974. After high school, she went on to work at Sheltered Workshop. Outside of her working life, she was a member of Cityview Church where she enjoyed the fellowship of her church friends. She loved attending the Lady’s Luncheon on Thursdays, helping with Bible School Camp, and volunteering whenever she had a chance. She was a social butterfly at Yorkview Nursing & Rehabilitation where she will be dearly missed by her friends and staff there. Her family remembers her as a people-person, never complaining about a thing, and adoring her nieces and nephews.
Surviving are her three siblings, Jeffrey L. Fantom, Daniel R. Fantom, and Carol Lage’; three step-sisters, Beth A. Rivera, Diane L. Feroce, and April M. Bowser. Cousins, Sharon Good, Brenda Hager, Gary E. Heiland II, Daniel Byer, and Angela Fantom Kern, Charles A. Fantom III, Jennifer Strasbaugh, Lori Rumberger; several nieces and nephews, Derek Fantom, Tyler Fantom and his partner Ashley Chantler, Daniel Fantom, Jr. and his partner Heather Bosze, Dylan Koller and his partner Isabella Hoffman, Joshlyn Koller, Hayden Lage’ and his partner Cass Bare, and Orion Lage’ and his partner Hunter Esbach; and several great-nieces and nephews, Madison Fantom, Avery Fantom, Kendall Morgan, Phoenix Fantom, Anya Koller, Brielle Koller, and Skylar Lage’. She is preceded in death by her parents and by a brother, Terry Fantom.
