Deanna M. (Sipe) Holtzinger

Deanna M. (Sipe) Holtzinger, 82, of York, ascended into Heaven the morning of Saturday, April 18, 2026. She was the loving wife of John W. Holtzinger to whom she was married almost 20 years.

A Celebration of Life Tribute service will be held 12:00 PM, Monday, April 27, 2026, at Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion, 17356 with Rev. Sterling Trimmer officiating. A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.

Born February 23, 1944, in Dallastown, she was a daughter of the late Arthur D. and Mary R. (Ruby) Sipe. She was a homemaker most of her life, but for a time worked at Fincor in York, PA and later took care of children in her home. She was a devoted member of Arlington Evangelical Congregational Church in Red Lion since 1982, where she met her beloved husband, John. She is remembered as a kind and gentle soul. She was loved by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, Tamara (Fitz) Bupp, Nelson Fitz III, Todd Fitz, and Brent Adams; and nine grandchildren—of whom she was especially close to Nathan Bupp. She is preceded in death by four brothers, a sister, a half-sister, and one grandchild.
