Dawn C. (Jamison) Poff

RED LION- Dawn C. (Jamison) Poff, 65, died on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Michael C. Poff. The couple were high school sweethearts and were married for 42 years.

Born on November 13, 1960 in York, she was a daughter of Rodney Jamison (Cynthia) of Felton and the late Carol E. (Krewson) Jamison.

Dawn devoted her life to being a loving mother and dedicated caretaker. She lovingly cared for her son, Ryan, throughout his life, always putting his needs first and providing him with unwavering love, support, and devotion. She was also a devoted and dedicated wife to her husband. Dawn’s family meant everything to her, and she considered being a wife and mother her greatest accomplishments in life.

Dawn is survived by her son, Zachary Poff of Red Lion; sister, Robin Jamison of York; and nieces and nephews, Kaitlyn, Jenna, Matthew, Justin and Jordan. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie Poff in 1982 and son, Ryan Poff in 2022.

A viewing will be held from 12 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion. Burial will follow at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
