Dawn M. Ettinger

York—Dawn M. Ettinger, 47, died Friday, October 16, 2015 at York Hospital. A Celebration of Life Service will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements. Born August 22, 1968 in York, she was the daughter of the late James J. Ettinger, Jr., and June M. (Smith) Ettinger. She was employed with at various placed in York County over the years including, Hardees, Hills Department Store and Pleasant Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation. Dawn was an avid reader and especially enjoyed reading the Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Immortal Instruments, Twilight and Bible Stories. She is survived by two brothers, James J. Ettinger, Jr., and John H. Ettinger both of York and several aunts, uncles and cousins. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail-N, York, Pa 17406.
