David H. Iddings

David H. Iddings, 73, of Lewisberry, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2026 at his home. He was the husband of Kathy S. (Wenger) Iddings with whom he celebrated 42 years of marriage on June 9, 2026.

Mr. Iddings was born on September 25, 1953 in Harrisburg, a son of the late Ernest and Helen Louise (Hulford) Iddings. He was a 1972 graduate of Red Land High School. David worked at West Shore School District where he served as Head Custodian at Fishing Creek Elementary School until his retirement.

David was proud to serve his community. He was active with the former Lewisberry Community Fire Company where he had served as President and Fire Chief. David had also served as EMA Coordinator for Lewisberry Borough and Newberry Township. He was also a former Mayor of Lewisberry Borough. Along with his wife, he attended Moore’s Mountain Church.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Iddings is survived by three children, Bradley D. Iddings of Bradenton, FL, Bridget L. Mansfield of Carlisle, and Cody W. and wife Olivia Iddings of Middletown; three grandchildren, Dayton Iddings, Karolena Santiago, and Emersyn Iddings; and two brothers, Frank Iddings of Carlisle and Dan Iddings of Texas. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Iddings.

Tribute services will be private with burial in Emanuel Cemetery, Lewisberry. Beaver Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 W. Front Street, Lewisberry is honored to serve the family.
