David I. Engel

YORK – David I. Engel, 73, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at York Hospital. Born July 6, 1948 in York, a son of the late Dorothy Edsall and William Engel; he was a 1966 graduate of Susquehannock High School. David had retired from Stetler Dodge and enjoyed golfing. Mr. Engel is survived by a daughter, Jennifer L. Miller of York; three grandchildren, Kelsey Plymire, Madelyn Miller, and Nathan Miller; three great grandchildren, Hattie, Eloise and Annie Plymire; two brothers, Frank Engel and his wife, Barbara, of Oak Ridge, NC and Paul Engel of Shrewsbury; a sister, Becky Markel of Felton; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Engel, Jr.; and a grandson, Jacob Miller. Tribute services and burial will be private.
