David Patrick Andrews

David Patrick “Dave” Andrews, 68, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 10, 2026 surrounded by his loving family at York Hospital. He was the husband of Barbara E. (Roush) Andrews. The couple celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on September 1, 2026.

Born on September 25, 1957 in Weirton, WV, he was the son of Gloria M. (Todoran) Andrews and the late George B. Andrews. During his career Dave worked as a pharmacist until his retirement. In his free time, he enjoyed listening to music and sports with his favorite teams being the Green Bay Packers, West Virginia Mountaineers, and the St. Louis Cardinals.

Along with his wife, Barbara, Dave is survived by his daughters, Katelyn Andrews and her husband, Shawn of Waynesboro and Colleen Andrews and her significant other, Chandler of York; brother Michael Andrews and his wife, Christine of Chicago; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father George B. Andrews.
