Dauris Marie (Crawford) Gross

FELTON – Dauris Marie “Dot” (Crawford) Gross, age 96, entered peacefully into rest on July 19th, 2025 at home surrounded by family. She was the wife of the late John Wilbur Gross who passed November 4th, 2013. They were married for 59 years.

Dauris was born March 15, 1929 in Brogue, PA and was the daughter of the late Howard “Pat” and Lustie (Shaull) Crawford. She was a lifelong member of St. James the Apostle Lutheran Church in Brogue, PA. She was a dedicated full-time wife, mother, and homemaker. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Dauris is survived by her children, Kathleen Dobbie (Dennis), Kenneth Gross (Karen), Linda Hall (Bradley), Steven Gross (Ellyn), and Jane Fogle (Jim Urey); three granddaughters, Candice (Phil), Alyssa (Zack), and Emily; and her sister, Norma Bupp. She is preceded in death by three brothers and one sister, Cleason, Roy, Richard, and Mary.

Her funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, PA 17356, is assisting the family with arrangements.
