Darlene J. (Hallacher) Bowder

YORK- Darlene J. (Hallacher) Bowder, 60, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late William L. Bowder Jr. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Bowder was born August 6, 1947 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Leroy S. and Mildred M. (Yohe) Hallacher. She was employed with Capo Holdings Inc., in Ormond Beach as an assembler; enjoyed spending her time painting wildlife scenes and oil painting. Mrs. Bowder is survived by a son; Todd K. Bowder of York; a daughter, Wendy J. Dixon of York; three grandchildren; and a brother, Leroy G. Hallacher of Columbia. She was preceded in death by a sister, Earla Jean Breneman.
