Daniel "Danny" Hesketh

RED LION – Daniel “Danny” Hesketh, 38, suddenly passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 3:00 PM on Friday January 27, 2023 at Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with Certified Celebrant Debe Snyder officiating. Prior to the service, there will be a visitation from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. There will be an opportunity for others to share their favorite memories and stories of Daniel. For those who cannot attend, Daniel’s Service will be livestreamed on HeffnerCare.com, under his obituary.

Born July 25, 1984 in York, he was a son of the late Kenneth and Mary L. (Haugh) Hesketh. Daniel was a graduate of Dallastown Area High School and went on to further his education at York County School of Technology’s Adult Ed Program. He received a certificate in Auto Technology. Daniel’s last employer was Boyd Wilson, where he held a position in maintenance. He also was skilled in machine operating and held a welding certificate. Daniel had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. He was quick to complement others, especially his mom and sisters. His hobbies included watching the Philadelphia Eagles, listening to a wide range of music and he was known to bust a move from time to time. Daniel also enjoyed adventure, he loved hiking and his favorite place to visit was Tennessee. Most of all, Daniel loved spending time with his friends, family and his favorite buddy, Arthur.

Daniel is survived by his beloved dog, Arthur; two sisters, Allison Klunk and her husband Dan, and Rebecca Gross and her husband Brian; four nieces, Morgan Sarago and her husband Anthony, Claudia Gross, Carly Gross, and Chloe Gross. In addition to his parents, Daniel is preceded in death by his nephew, Justin Klunk.
