Dallas Dickerson Jr., 52, of East York, left this world on February 28th with his sister by his side. He was a graduate of West York High School, class of ’92. Dallas was a friend to everyone he met. He was a positive influence on many and knew how to make people laugh. Dallas enjoyed getting in a good workout at the gym, jamming out to Iron Maiden, dirt track racing with his buddies, but most of all being the best dad to his daughter. Dallas had such a passion for life, family, and friends.

Dallas is survived by his daughter, Adeline Dickerson; his best friend and partner in life, Cortney Hoover; sister, Lawanna Hackworth and fiancé Tim Smith; brother David Hackworth and sister-in-law, Robin Hackworth; brother Harrison Hackworth and fiancé Noam Katan; nephew Matt Walter and wife Melanie; Adeline’s maternal grandparents, Gary and Judy Kline, and his beloved dog, Nilla. He has many other family and friends. Dallas was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen Dickerson and father Dallas Dickerson, Sr.

Dallas did not wish for any funeral services. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. is honored to serve the family.
