Dale R. Young

FELTON - Dale R. Young, 74, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022 at WellSpan York Hospital. He was the loving husband of Diane M. (Grothe) Young. Born January 12, 1948 in Winterstown, Mr. Young was a son of the late Harvey M. and Thelma (Geesey) Young. Mr. Young worked for many years at Harley Davidson, and was tool and die maker. In his free time, Mr. Young was an avid hunter and fisherman. And was active in the Craley Fish and Game Association. He also enjoyed spending time in his garden, and helping anyone in need. In addition to his wife, Mr. Young leaves behind two sons, Troy R. Young (Gretchen), and Trent R. Young (Nicki); three grandchildren, Kiera, Regan, and Torin; four sisters, Faye Hershey, Gloria Gruver, Linda Flinchbaugh, and Mary Beth Caldwell; and his beloved dog, Sassy. Mr. Young is preceded in death by a brother Lee H. Young, and a sister, JoAnne Young. All services will be private at the convenience of the family.
