Dale R. Ferree, Sr.

LEWISBERRY- Dale R. Ferree, Sr., 76, died on Monday, June 23, 2025 at his residence. He was the husband of Emma R. (Kunkle) Ferree to whom he was married for 57 years.

A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 27, 2025 at Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, 305 W. Front St., Lewisberry with Reverend Ricky McCarl officiating. A viewing will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Emanuel Cemetery.

Born on September 12, 1948 at home in Newberry Twp., he was a son of the late Robert and Alice (Warner) Ferree. Dale was a roofer at Master Roofers and most recently at Heidler Roofing.

Mr. Ferree lived to fish and enjoyed gardening. Most importantly, he loved all of his family members, especially his late mother.

Along with his wife, Emma, Dale is survived by his son, Dale R. Ferree, Jr. of York Haven; grandson, Stephen Ferree and his wife, Mary of East Berlin; and three sisters, Barbara Conley of Strinestown, Helen Ross and her husband, Dennis of Spry and Brenda Shaffer of Etters.
