D. Joy Rhoades D. Joy Rhoades, 69, of Pottsville died Saturday peacefully at her residence after a short illness Born in Pottsville she was the daughter of the late Isabel C. Bosche (family doesn't want father name listed). She graduated from Pottsville High School in 1956. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Port Carbon, PA, and Past-President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the West End Hose Company, Pottsville. Mrs. Rhoades retired in 2001 from United Metal Receptacle Corp. as a Customer service Representative. Surviving is her daughter Janet Rhoades and a friend Sandra Wilson, Minersville, five granddaughters Melissa, Kimberly, Martha Jean, Jolene, and Susan, and seven great-grandchildren. An Uncle Jacob Bosche, Pottsville, and several nieces and nephews. Services of remembrances will be conducted at the convenience of the family. The Rev. Margie Kropp of Grace United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Pottsville. Condolences may be sent to www.bestlifetributes.com.
