Cynthia Ruth Grimm

YORK- Cynthia Ruth (French) Grimm, 76, died on Monday, July 13, 2026 at her residence. 

Born on April 13, 1950 in Chelsea, MA, she was a daughter of the late C. Maxwell and Ruth (Jones) French of Lynnfield, MA. Cindy was employed at Yorktowne Cabinetry for over 25 years and most recently was a billing specialist at Drayer Physical Therapy for 13 years until her retirement.

Cindy was a proud member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed playing bingo and spending quiet moments cuddled up with her beloved cat, Midnight. Cindy had a wonderful sense of humor and always had a “mom joke” ready to tell. She truly loved to make people laugh. Cindy prided herself on being a stellar patient and her positive outlook and determination were an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Cynthia is survived by two daughters, Lindsay Aquino and her husband, Bryan of York and Rachel Grimm and her partner, Clint Johnson of Red Lion; two grandchildren, Adrian and Andrew; brother, David French and his husband, JT Tucker of Oakland Park, FL; sister, Pamela Iverson and her husband, Wendell of Boston, MA/Netherlands; niece, Kate; and nephew, John and their families.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is honored to serve the family.
