Curvin K. Thoman, Jr., 88, of Windsor Township, passed away Friday, May 1, 2026 at WellSpan York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Carol E. (Rawson) Thoman to whom he was married for almost 60 years.
Born June 10, 1937 in Red Lion, he was the son of Curvin K., Sr. and Dorothy R. (Sliver) Thoman. Mr. Thoman was a proud US Navy veteran. For most of his working life, he was a laborer and supervisor at Gichner’s, also working a variety of other roles at the company. In addition to his hard work, he was a lifetime member at Grace Lutheran Church in Red Lion.
Surviving are his two sisters, Barbara Hartman and Treva Fink and her husband Kenneth Fink, Sr.; four nieces, Amy Hartman, Debra Harlacher, Susan Krout, and Sandy Krout; two nephews, John Hartman and Kenneth Fink, Jr.; several great and great-great nieces and nephews; and his significant other, Marcene Trout to whom he shared the last several years with. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol; a nephew, G. Edward Hartman, Jr.; and a brother-in-law, Glenn Hartman, Sr.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., Red Lion, is honored to serve the family.
