Craig Albert Keener

DOVER- Craig Albert Keener, 59, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, October 22, 2017. He was the loving husband of Crystal Jean (Buchmyer) Keener. The couple first met in high school and have been married for over 32 years. Craig was born in York on July 6, 1958 to Marcia (Dick) Keener of Dover and the late Charles Keener. Mr. Keener served our country in the United States Marine Corp. He worked for A. Duie Pyle, Inc. for 15 years as a dock worker. Mr. Keener was a man of God and attended Light House Baptist Church of Greater York. Along with his wife and mother, Craig is survived by his son, Robert Keener and wife Audra of West York and their children, Jacob, Melody, Jonah, and a daughter on the way; his daughter, Kelly Keener of Dover; his older brother, Chuck Keener and wife Melanie, and his sisters, Carol (Keener) Strayer and husband Ray, and Cheryl (Keener) Hengst . Services were held privately at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, is in charge of arrangements.
