WHITE DEER - Constance J. “Connie” (Vargo) Minium, 62, went home to the lord on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at the Muncy Valley Hospital. Connie was born on August 30, 1948 in Lewisburg and was the daughter of the late John V. Vargo, Sr. of New Columbia and the late June (Milheim) Solomon of Milton. Connie had attended the Milton High School and had worked as a bookkeeper for Turbotville Dress. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crafts, collecting porcelain dolls and fishing with her late father. She was a member of the Faith Chapel Church, White Deer. Connie was married to Winford H. “Skip” Minium on June 28th and would have celebrated 42 years of marriage this year. In addition to her husband “Skip”, Connie is survived by three brothers; John V. Vargo, Jr. (Jeanne) of Turbotville, Robert Vargo (Judy) of Massachusetts and David Vargo (Darlene) of Montandon, three sisters; Patricia Zearfoss (Ronald) of Texas, Donna Stahl (William) of Millmont and Deanna Shearer (Larry) of Milton, three sisters-in-laws Lucile Waters of Mifflinburg, Grace Kitner of Watsontown and Patricia Yetter of Middleburg, two brothers-in-law; Herbert “Butch” (Mary) Minium and Eugene Minium, all of Watsontown and many nieces and nephews, specifically; Krista (Vargo) McMonigle of Muncy, Peter Vargo of Hawley and Bradley Vargo of Utah. There will be a memorial service held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the Faith Chapel Church, 2125 White Deer Pike, White Deer, PA 17887. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Chapel Church. Arrangements are being handled by The Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton, PA.
