Connie Mae (Drawbaugh) Hughes

DOVER- Connie Mae (Drawbaugh) Hughes, 72, died on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at her residence. She was the wife of Walter R. Hughes, Jr.

A celebration of life tribute service will be held on at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 9, 2023 at Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, 305. W. Front St., Lewisberry, with Chaplain Todd Carver officiating. A viewing will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Parkville Cemetery.

Born on November 27, 1950 in York, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Marjorie (Crane) Drawbaugh. Connie was a housewife.

Connie loved baking for her family and loved babysitting her nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband, Walter, Connie is survived by her daughter, Sonya Feeser of Dover; three sisters, Carolyn Zeigler of Dover, Rose Johnson of Dover and Bonnie Anstine of Dover; brother, Kent Drawbaugh and his wife, Brenda of Etters; and her dog, Journie. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Drawbaugh and Crystal Drawbaugh.
