Clifford G. 'Pete' Kunes

LOCK HAVEN - Clifford G. “Pete” Kunes, age 81, passed away at Susque View Home on Friday, June 24, 2011. He was born in Lock Haven on September 19, 1929, a son of the late Ruth M. Kunes. Pete was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church, V.F.W. Post #1600, and the Beech Creek American Legion. He worked for Haven Homes for several years, was a truck driver for Bechdel Trucking, and was a self-employed carpenter. Clifford served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Surviving is his companion and care giver: LaRae Zuback of Mill Hall, son: Randy Kunes of California, and several grandchildren. As per his wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Private family burial will be held at Liberty Baptist Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall is in charge of the arrangements.
