Clarita Dianne Bigelow

Clarita Dianne Bigelow, 79 passed away on August 23, 2026, at her residence.

Born on October 10, 1946 in Lewistown, PA she was the daughter of the late Jack P. and Dorothy J. (Treaster) Bigelow. After high school, Dianne attended nursing school where she graduated and became a licensed practical nurse. She then went on to work for the former Memorial Hospital in East York for 35 years before her retirement. In her free time, she enjoyed contributing to anything in wildlife.

Ms. Bigelow is survived by her son, Robert L. Bigelow, Sr. and wife Stephanie Bigelow of York, two grandchildren, Robert L. Bigelow, Jr. and Gabriella C. Bigelow, a half brother, Dennis Ream, a sister, Joan Dress, and her beloved Shih Tzu, Sammy.

She was preceded in death by her three brothers, Bill Bigelow, Don Bigelow, and Jack Bigelow; a half brother, Thomas Bigelow, a sister, Karen Ward, and a half sister, Elizabeth (Jeanne) Platt.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the York SPCA at 3159 Susquehanna Trail N. York, PA 17406.
