DILLSBURG – Clair E. Taylor, 77, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Brookdale Grandon Farms. He was the husband of Dorothy M. “Dotty” (Parke) Taylor to whom he was married for 54 years.
A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 23, 2025, at Redland Valley Brethren in Christ Church, 3555 Lewisberry Rd., York Haven, with Pastor Gavin Whitcomb officiating. A visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Tri County Memorial Gardens in Lewisberry. Beaver Urich Funeral Home, Inc., Lewisberry, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born July 4, 1947, in York Haven, Mr. Taylor was the son of the late Herbert S. and Nora Ellen “Dolly” (Weirich) Taylor. He retired from Borg-Warner making York Air-Conditioners where he worked for 41 and 1/2 years. Mr. Taylor enjoyed gardening, wood working, hunting, and fishing. He was a big NASCAR fan and loved traveling with his wife.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Taylor is survived by two children, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; his two brothers, Dennis Taylor of York, and Randy Allen Taylor of Chambersburg; and his two sisters, Dena Apple of Myrtle Beach and Cindy Unger of Chambersburg.
