Cindy Lou (Hughes) Anderson

YORK HAVEN – Cindy Lou (Hughes) Anderson of York Haven, PA, born on July 21, 1958, gained her wings on January 21, 2026 with family by her side after battling a brief illness. Cindy was a very sweet, lovable person with a very contagious smile that lit up the room as soon as she walked in.

Cindy was loved by everyone who had the blessing of knowing her and having her in their lives. Cindy’s friends and family meant the world to her, along with her work family after working for Rite Aid for 25 plus years.

She is proceeded in death by her late husband, Ronald “Fred” Anderson; her mother, Rena (Phillips) Hughes; her father, Carl Hughes; sister, Patsy Fink; and a nephew, Nathan Nelson. Cindy is survived by her son, Jason Anderson and daughter-in-law, Samantha Anderson; a brother, Carl Hughes and his wife Kathy; a sister, Deb Nelson; along with nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins who all held a special place in her heart.

Cindy enjoyed going to the Goldsboro Fireman’s Club, the VFW, along with The Falls on the weekends, and spending time with her friends. Most importantly, she just loved life. She loved the color purple and smiley faces which matched her soul.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Beaver Urich Funeral Home, Inc., Lewisberry, is assisting the family with arrangements.
