YORK – Cheryl A. (Simmons) Jacobs, 70, passed away Monday, November 18, 2024 at Carolyn’s House Hospice. She was the wife of the late Charles S. “Chuck” Jacobs.
A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, December 6, 2024 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with Pastor Josh Kleinfeld officiating. A viewing will be held from 9-10:00 AM Friday at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
Born August 14, 1954 in York, a daughter of the late Stanley L. and Lucille W. (Fox) Simmons, she was a 1972 graduate of Northeastern High School. Cheryl had worked for the PA Liquor Control Board and retired as a store manager for PA Wine & Good Spirits. She enjoyed spending time with family.
Mrs. Jacobs is survived by a son, Bradley S. and wife Katherine Jacobs of London, England; a daughter, Krista J. and husband Matthew Quickel of Dallastown; three grandchildren, Carter and Chloe Quickel, and Arabella Jacobs; a brother, Clarence E. Simmons of York; and two sisters, Annie Foulk of York and Brenda Strausbaugh of Dover. She was preceded in death by a sister, Rose Collins; and a brother, Stanley Simmons, Jr.
