Chelsea Leigh “Velma” Rohrman, 34, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025 in York, PA.
A Celebration of Chelsea’s Life will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, July 13, 2025 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. A viewing will be held from 2-3:00 PM at the Funeral Chapel. Chelsea’s Tribute Service will be webcast on her obituary page at www.HeffnerCare.com
Chelsea, or Velma as her friends lovingly referred to her, was born on June 13, 1991 in Bristol, PA; a daughter of Marian (Oelschlegel) White and her husband Earl White of York and Donald Craig Rohrman, Sr. and his partner Laura Kelly of Philadelphia. Chelsea was a 2009 graduate of York County High School and earned her Associate’s degree in Social Sciences from HAAC, where she earned both Dean’s List and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society distinctions. She was currently attending Penn State University to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences. Chelsea had worked at Gaudenzia and the York County Youth Advocate Program. She enjoyed taking care of her fish, cuddling with her cats, and loved and cared for all animals. Chelsea lived a life to help others in need. She enjoyed adventures traveling, anime and Star Wars. She was devotedly invested in her family and was godmother of her niece Violet.
Survived by her parents; sister Heather L. Ford (Josh); brother Donald Rohrman Jr.; stepsisters Christina Pfeifer (Andrew) and Holly Green (James); nieces and nephews Charlotte Green, J.D. Green, Lucas Pfeifer, and Violet Ford; cousin Alexis Ross (Mark) and daughter Millie; cousin Mark H. Oelschlegel; uncles Conrad Oelschlegel, Mark C. Oelschlegel, and Eric Oelschlegel (Ann Marie Lollo). She was predeceased by her aunt Susan Oelschlegel, uncle Anthony Oelschlegel and grandmother Vita Marie Sole.
