Charles S. Frey, Jr.

York – Charles S. Frey, Jr., 82, died on Monday, June 2, 2025 at York North Skilled Nursing and Rehab in York, PA. He was the husband of Brenda L. Frey to whom he was married for 40 years.

Born May 16, 1943, in York, he was the son of the late Charles S. Frey, Sr., and Sarah “Louise” (Morrett) Frey.

Mr. Frey was a United States Army Veteran, of the Vietnam War.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Frey is also survived by his son, Greg Markel; his daughter, Heather Nieves; his step-daughter, Amy L. Dissinger; and his sister, Kay A. Kraft. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Vickie L. Glatfelter and his brother, Gary L. Frey.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
