Charles E. Thomas

WILKES-BARRE-Charles E. Thomas, 79, of South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2007 in the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Plains Township. Born in Scranton on February 12, 1928, he was the son of the late Samuel and Helen Thomas. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Boniface Church, Wilkes-Barre. Three sisters preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife, the former Anne Marie James; daughter Catherine Thomas, Wilkes-Barre; one grandson, Karl Thomas Kleist. Private services were held at the convenience of the family. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
