Chaphley Ornevil Jacques

York—Chaphley Ornevil Jacques, 41, died Saturday, July 9, 2016 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Chedais Jacques to whom she was married for 17 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10 AM, Sunday, July 24, 2016 at York Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2220 Roosevelt Ave, York. Visitations will be held from 7-9 PM, Saturday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York and 9-10 AM, Sunday at the church. Burial will be held in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Born May 20, 1975 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, she was a daughter of Sauveur Ornevil and Enante Edouard. She was employed as an Assistant Teacher at St. Vincent de Paul in Baltimore. A member of Jerusalem/Shekinah Seventh Day Adventist Church, she was a talented singer, who was often requested to sing at churches, nursing homes and weddings. She was also a loving wife and devoted mother, who really enjoyed shopping. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Ornevil is also survived by two sons, Rey-Livenro Jacques and Ron-Schlepher Jacques; one daughter, Faithcha Heavenly Divine Jacques; three brothers, Olson, Myson and Semane Ornevil; one sister, Naphky Ornevil and nephews & nieces.
