Catherine S. (Rouscher) Stackhouse

YORK - Catherine S. (Rouscher) Stackhouse, 89, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Jacob H. Stackhouse. A gathering of friends will take place from 6-8:00 PM Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, December 19, 2014 in Mt. Rose Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 AM Friday at the Mt. Rose Avenue entrance of the cemetery. Born November 23, 1925 in York a daughter of the late Walter and Lillian (Gratz) Rouscher, she retired from Danskin, Inc. in 1984 after 25 years of service. Mrs. Stackhouse was a member of Grace Lutheran Church on Jefferson Ave., York. Mrs. Stackhouse is survived by a daughter, Cheryl M. and husband Richard Staub of Dallastown; a son, Gary and wife Bonnie Jo Stackhouse of York Springs; four grandchildren, Jennifer Staub-Morin, Kerry and husband Kevin Scritchfield, Joseph and Suzanna Stackhouse; and two great grandchildren, Benjamen Morin and Kellen Scritchfield.
