Catherine R. Craley

RED LION- Catherine R. (Shaw) Craley, 91, of Chanceford Township, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Autumn House East in York. She was the wife of the late Emerson L. Craley.

Born on May 27, 1934 in York, Catherine was the daughter of the late Lawrence Shaw and Mabel (Smith) McCleary. In her free time, she enjoyed working around the house cleaning and above all raking leaves. She was a member of St. Luke Church in Felton.

She is survived by a sister, Flo Gill residing at Normandie Ridge in York and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Junior Shaw and a sister, Rosetta Showers.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on February 9, 2026 at St. Luke Church, 2666 Furnace Rd, Felton with Chaplain Donna Christopher officiating the service. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, is assisting the family with arrangements.
